This was my first time actually going here with my husband and it was his first time also! The lady welcomed us in nicely and then we had to leave and come right back and the the gentlemen did a GREAT job on my husband's haircut! Thank you!!
The best place for littles! Mr.Carl is so gentle & makes it fun!
Haven't been back to this barbershop since childhood, stopped in to find Mr. Carl still gives the same great haircuts. You won't get a more authentic experience than this, the building is beautifully maintained and the folks inside plying their trade are the best in the business.

Was asked if I had an appt and I did not. I was going to wait if I had to since I needed a haircut bad. But was able to get a quick cut and beard trim before the next appointment came in. Carl was fast and did a great job. Found out he graduated from Lakeland Sr High school in 1965. I told him I graduated from there in 1978. Lot's of cool things around to look at.
The barber shop is amazing and I have sent friends and recently my sister to get her hair cut and I planned on making a appointment for one as well.
Today my wife simply called to speak to the owner or manger there at the time to ask a question.The woman on the other end said no with a bad attitude and hung up. Didn’t even ask if she could take a message or ask what the phone call was for. Was very rude and unprofessional with answering a phone call. That’s not how a potential customer or potential future client should be treated.
I have been going here to get my hair cut for over 25 years. Carl, April, and Jerry have all done a great job cutting my hair. It is a wonderful old time barber shop. They are great with all their customers and especially with the little ones. If you want a hair cut at a fair price by someone that will know your name and be there 6 months from now this is your place.
Carl is awesome. A great barber. He's been cutting hair a long time and always gets it right. He makes it look effortless. From the very first time, I was always comfortable with him. He is very casual, very calm and friendly. Really, never a bad cut or unpleasant experience. Top notch. I would never go anywhere else, given the choice!
